Default Servo rebuild

Has any one tried to rebuild their losi or Savox 236 servos. I have mine apart and they seem to be identical. Not having luck trying to find the right motor because #on can don't jive. The motors with matching dimensions and volts are less than $3 a piece. Need the speed and torque spec for motor not servo. Working on it

What did they say when you called Savox or sent them a email?

This issue is years old. I assumed some one has already made the call or figured out a solution. I guess not. What do you do when you're servos went out just go by new ones? You can throw all the money you want at a these trucks.A $100 a pop for a servo that only last a few races get old real quick I've done it. But I draw the line at a $500 hitec servo that cost very little to manufacture. That's insane. I'm just cheap that way. I'll make a call.
