Spektrum S9020 steering servo opinions

Anyone ever try to rebuild the stock or the Savox servo.they are the exactly the same. I've been doing some research on the motors.They look to be about $3 for the same dimensions and voltage. Don't know if the circuit board is the problem.

When my stocker died it would turn fine one way but no movement the other way at all so I suspect on mine the board croaked.

On the boy's I think it is the motor turns both ways but draws crazy power on right turns leading to voltage sag.

James, did you ever called the company? What did they say?
