Default Stupid noob question about mixing on radio

Ok I have the new Losi 5-B. Going brushless and want to keep the mechanical breaks. I have the break servo on chan4 on my spek dx4. (No flaming I use my futaba on the 5-T and switching models is a pain for me) sooo im sure it the same concept where do I start on setting throttle and using the break off a different channel? I assume Ill need to turn off reverse somewhere for the break to work as well.

Just run a splitter off ch.2,, go into settings on esc, forward only. No mixing required.
