No rr5's. I think the losi buggies are way more durable and less complicated. This track was pretty tame. I don't think the RR5's would have survived the west coast nationals at Glen Helen - it was pretty brutal.

Any updates on this set up? Almost pulled the trigger a while back on the buggy conversion, that is until I saw this option. Running brushless would be nice to be able to go smaller lighter but still be protected by a cage. Wouldn't happen to know the weight differences between stock, buggy conversion, and 5ive bxl conversions?

ocbaja, nice post. Are you making the chassis kit available so I could do the same or do you recommend just trying to do it yourself? If so, any tips in the main problems you faced and how you got round them. Cheers. Andy
