Hey guys, Hope this is ok in here as theres no "Race " section. Ive copied this from my Largescale race forum. Just thought it may interest some of you UK guys with
largescale cars.

Hi All Shy Guys.... I Said Guy's
It always amazes me how many visitors we get in this section of the forum who take the trouble to register and log in yet find it difficult to take the next step into having a trial attempt at racing, which is so addictive there should be a health warning stamped on every car
Therefore the LSOR section of the BRCA is looking to expand its ranks of national competing drivers in 2012. Whilst i think we all appreciate the financial pinch in our pockets i know in the main LSOR racing is very dear to those that have taken the plunge to come racing. I would go further in that our drivers list is growing at a steady pace, with young and old rubbing shoulders most weekends on the tracks around the UK, sharing tips, set-ups, tyres, beers, and in Stevo's case our food as well
It is my aim this year to get people who have LSOR cars, old Marders, Leopards, Supercross, Bajas, etc, who to date have not been brave enough to get their cars dirty to enjoy a moment of madness and make the decission to come racing. You will find it fun fun fun and far less daunting than you may think, with loads of help if you are not sure of what happens next or indeed honing your track ettiquette which our very own Mr Mark Cove is a legend in his own lifetime
So those of you who think your car is not competitive, or feel that your RC driving skills are a bit dodgy.... PLEASE DONT WORRY. Please PM me and i will point you towards your nearest club who i am sure will provide you with all the support you need to have a great day racing, I am also trying to get the LSOR clubs to enroll in a scheme to allow a new driver to attend 2 meetings at a concessionary rate as just one of a number of 2012 LSOR promotions.
If you happen to be one of a group of weekend bashers who would also like to have a taste of racing we could also possibly arrange special heats for you to race together if you so wish... We are a friendly bunch and are open to any suggestions which will bring Racers, Shelf Queens, Bashers, newbies, etc together to enjoy our sport.
As previously stated the traveling aspect can also be a bit of a "put off" but if any new prospective raver... err i mean racer realy wants to come racing it may be possible to share transport costs with one of our more established stallwarts who currently travel from every corner of the UK so anything is possible.
So if you have an old Large Scale Off Road Car sat on a shelf or you simply bash with friends on the occasional weekend and you fancy a go at racing one weekend then PM Me, and i will ensure you get all the help you need to have a "taster" racing session
Kind Regards

Just trying to get Some LOSI 5ive's on the track, We'll have to run in the outlaw class as the losi is a bit too long to meet the 4x4 regs.
But who knows SC Trucks could be the RC of the future, 10 of these trucks runing round
the track per heat would be great to see and race in.
If you need any info on the closest track to you shoot me a pm, Ill be happy to help.
Thanks
Dave
